DiSE 2024-25 Hub Days Confirmed
The dates of DiSE Hub Days for 2024 and 2025 have now been confirmed. For the first time since we started to offer the course a couple of year ago, we have booked a full academic year of dates, starting with the annual welcome day at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester on Saturday September 28th.
DiSE is a competence based qualification worth 64 UCAS points and is aimed at riders who have recently taken GCSEs and who are, or expect to be, in the British Cycling Talent pathway and who are resident in and qualify for England. It combines bike riding and education so participants have the skills, knowledge and competence to pursue sporting excellence alongside education and a future career.
We know how busy life can be if you’re an elite athlete, so is not mandatory to attend all of the Hub Days. However, you will have to attend at least one of each of them in your eighteen months with us in order to pass the course.
We will give you more details on this at the welcome day in September but essentially is gives you the freedom to choose what dates work best for you so that you can continue to do what your good at – which is to concentrate on your development as an athlete and excel at bike races.
