Costa Blanca Cycling Holiday
Join us for a seven night cycling holiday on the Costa Blanca in January 2025.
Our Costa Blanca cycling holiday will feature rides on classic routes such as Col Du Rates, Col du Bernia, the beautiful Castel de Guadalest and stunning routes along the coast roads near to Calpe and Denia and also, a visit to the Benidorm Cyclocross World Cup.
You’ll stay at the incredible Hotel Cap Negret in Altea, home to numerous professional cycling teams, such as Bahrain Victorious, Lotto Destiny and Van Rysel Roubaix and which has amazing facilities for cyclists.
The Hotel Cap Negret is situated just the north of the beautiful town of Altea and moments away from the foothills of Sierra de Bernia where classic Spanish mountain climbs such as the Col de Rates and the Col de Bernia begin.
You can choose from 2 differently paced groups every day depending on your fitness and experience.
What Shall I Expect?
The 2025 Benidorm Cyclocross World Cup will take place over the weekend of January 18/19 and the holiday will begin on Wednesday 15th January with a private transfer from Alicante Airport.
Around this area of the Costa Blanca you’ll enjoy roads with very little traffic, beautiful coastal routes and gentle mountain climbs.
Altea is a beautiful town and whilst it is only twenty minutes from Benidorm, it could be a thousand miles away as the culture is so different.

Altea isn’t far from Calpe and Benidorm and is a popular destination for winter cycling training camps in January and February and holidays as the climate is warmer than the UK. Our cycling training camps in Spain mainly take place in the cycling off-season.
The autumn, winter and spring seasons are all popular times for cycling training camps in Spain as the number of rainy, wet days are considerably less than in England. Check out the fantastic Epic Road Rides website for loads of inspiration of where to go next.
