Costa Blanca Training Camp
Ideal for youth and junior cyclists, the Costa Blanca winter training camp will feature all aspects of a professional cycling training camp and parents and siblings are welcome too.
Staying at the amazing Hotel Cap Negret in the costal resort of Altea near to Calpe and Denia in warm, sunny Spain, you will get plenty of time to get some winter base miles in your legs and prepare for the summer cycling season.
Until recently the Hotel Cap Negret has been a secret amongst the professional cycling community as it has been used mainly for training camps. But thanks to our partnership with the hotel you can stay there too. We have negotiated access which will allow our guests to have the same experience as the professional riders.
You will sit at tables next to professional riders, meet them in the corridors and lifts and socialise with them during the evenings. The Hotel Cap Negret is an amazing place and teams including Bahrain Victorious, Lotto Destiny, Van Rhysel Roubaix and many more make it their base over the winter months.
The 2026 Camp will take place from Wednesday January 14th, to January 21st 2026. We will travel to the Costa Blanca a few days before and stay in the town of Altea, which isn’t far away from Calpe, Denia and Benidrom. This is where lots of professional cycling teams spend the winter months on training camps.
This camp takes place in January as it coincides with the Benidorm Cyclocross World Cup which will take place on January 18th. Benidorm is just fifteen minutes away and the whole group has a rest day so we can go to enjoy an amazing event.
And guess what? If you want to race in Benidorm, you can do. We have negotiated with the organisers of the Benidorm Cyclocross World Cup for you to race on the same course as the UCI races where you will get the chance to race on the same course as famous names such as Fem van Empel, Cat Ferguson, Matthieu van der Poel and Tom Pidcock.
Each day will feature a training ride, free time to explore the town of Altea so that you can discover the local culture and see if you can spot World Tour professional teams. But don’t worry if you can’t make it for the whole week, you can join us for a long weekend.
The Costa Blanca winter training camp is ideal for youth and junior riders but parents are also welcome and can also join in on one of the daily parents rides to Denia, Calpe or into the nearby hills. You can also ride into the Mountains inland from the Costa Blanca to take on the world famous Col de Rates or attend one of our ‘rider support’ sessions which will take place in the late afternoons.
The camp will finish on a high when on the last night everyone who attends will take part in the end of camp cabaret. Have you got your act prepared?
The Costa Blanca Camp includes:

Training Camp Schedule+
There is a non-refundable deposit of £100 per person payable in order to secure your place. If you decide that you no longer can make the trip, you will lose your payment. However, if in the event that we have to postpone the trip, your deposit will not be lost. Your deposit will simply be rolled over to the subsequent trip.

**The Bike displayed may not be the actual model that you ride but you will ride one of a very similar quality.
**This is in the form of a vehicle that can be called out when necessary. The vehicle will attend any incidents such as mechanicals or accidents and either replace the bicycle or take an injured person for treatment at the appropriate place.
The headline price is based on two people sharing a twin room.
