Live like a professional for the week at the Costa Blanca Half Term Skills Camp.

This isn’t just a cycling holiday or training camp – it’s a chance for younger riders to experience the training lifestyle of the world’s best riders in an elite and supportive environment.

Live like the pros

Aimed at youth and junior riders, you’ll stay full board at the incredible Hotel Cap Negret – the winter home of professional teams such as Bahrain Victorious, Van Rysel Roubaix, Lotto Dstny, Flanders-Baloise, Laboral Kutxa and many more. After every ride, you’ll return to the hotel buffet for the fuel you need, and use the dedicated bike zone alongside the pros with tools, laundry and bike wash included.

Every guest will receive an exclusive souvenir jersey, designed by our official apparel partner Tactic UK. Riders will also see Manchester Cycling Academy staff and ride leaders in Tactic kit throughout the week.

Train on iconic routes

Just 15 minutes from Benidorm and Calpe, Altea is at the heart of the Costa Blanca’s world-class cycling terrain. Daily rides will explore legendary climbs such as the Col de Rates and the stunning Castell de Guadalest, all under the Mediterranean sun.

Base miles, not burn-out
We believe young riders should prioritise low-intensity, consistent miles over high-intensity sessions. Our camp is built on this philosophy: steady rides, sociable paces and steady efforts. Riders of all abilities will find a group that fits and younger riders will build the endurance they need to thrive in the coming season.

Our coaches will monitor riders for training load throughout the week and provide advice on recovery and future session intensity to ensure riders get the most from the camp while avoiding overload.

A family feel

Aimed at Youth and Junior riders, this trip has a real family feel and throw in that you’ll mix with professional riders every day, you’ve got the perfect environment for creating an unforgettable experience on and off the bike. Our guests are a mix of developing teen-aged riders, parents and cycling enthusiasts of all ages, which makes for a welcoming, supportive and inspiring environment.

You'll stay in a twin or family room as a family unit and our ride leaders will guide the groups out into the hills each day.

Riders aged under sixteen years old are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by, and stay in the same room, as a parent.

Itinerary*:

• Saturday February 13th Transfer from Alicante Airport. Arrive at Hotel Cap Negret. Welcome lunch and afternoon activation ride.
• Sunday February 14th Morning Ride to Benissa and Javea via Calpe and the Coastal roads.
• Monday February 15th Morning Ride to Castell de Guadalest. 
• Tuesday February 16th Morning Ride to La Nucia and Finestrat. 
• Wednesday February 17th Rest Day - Day Out Excursion Destination TBC
• Thursday February 18th Morning Ride to Col de Rates with shorter route for younger riders
• Friday February 19th Morning Ride to Puerto de Bernia and evening celebration
• Saturday February 20th Break camp. Final farewells and transfers to Alicante Airport.

Transfers:

We provide one transfer from and to Alicante Airport which will leave Alicante Airport at 11.00 on Saturday January 13th and return from the Hotel Cap Negret at approximately 07.00 on Saturday January 20th. Transfers include one suitcase and standard sized hand luggage.

Separate transfers can be arranged at extra cost.

You can choose to pay in full or in monthly intervals via our Direct Debit facility. Once you have paid your deposit, we will be in touch to set up your payments.

If you would like to have a single room then there will be a supplementary charge of £250 per week.

There is a deposit* of £250 payable in order to secure your place with balances due six weeks before the trip takes place or you can opt to pay by monthly Direct Debit at no extra cost.
